Spackled over all the holes and cracks in my walls! Most of them were not put there by me, but while I had the DIY stuff out I figured I’d be nice and do everything for my landpipple. I have noticed a lot of the finishing work (paint, etc) down in my flat is a touch shoddy. (most of the cracks and flakes appear to be from nails forcing through the paint/drywall. I blame last summer’s earthquake.)

Regardless of source, now all I have to do is wait a couple hours and paint over it.

Going to use my copious free time to clean and fix up my appartment.

Probably won’t be around much.

Thinking about breaking down and shelling out some heftier change for a decent mic headset. I really like having a mic, but the cheap pair I bought at the end of fall semester is starting to give me crap.

Anyone got a recommendation for a nice set? I don’t want anything super fancy like those huge gaming surround sound ones (besides, they’re eat my head) but something with good sound quality would be nice, and a decent mic is a must. Noise cancellation would also be kind of nice, I guess? Especially once I move and am living with other people again.

There is something deeply weird about sitting in my living room in what are essentially footie pajamas at the end of May (my apartment is always cold okay) mumbling to myself about how words taste.

And squirrels. Yeah.
